Safe Routes to School - Portland

The students and faculty of Sunnyside Environmental have an entire curriculum dedicated to bike safety that emphasizes using non-motorized means of getting to school. Children as young as 2nd grade ride their bicycles to school solo thanks to neighborhood traffic calming. Kids also arrive by foot, skateboard, and scooter. In the morning, it's just fabulous melange of energy watching scores of parents drop off their children by bike - some carrying three children! Produced by StreetFilms.
