Teens and Gun Crime


Gun violence poses a serious threat to America's young people. A teenager in this country is more likely to die from a gunshot wound than from all natural causes of death combined. Even though we have made progress in reducing violent crime in the United States, the rates of crimes committed with guns continues to be among the highest in the industrialized world The PSAs encourage youth to think about the repercussions of gun crimes and reminds them that the consequences, death or jail time, just as seriously affect their families.
